We realise that having someone besides your manager to talk about your career is very important, which is why we introduced the Mentor Programme in 2008. Over 70% of our staff have a mentor, someone they can talk to informally over a lunch or a coffee about their targets for that quarter, whilst also focusing on longer term plans.
Our mentors are usually a more senior member of staff than their mentee, holding a position that their mentee could strive to accomplish over the comings years. Over 80% of our mentors have helped their mentees achieve a promotion – not bad for a monthly or quarterly coffee and catch up!
